Carolyn is a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and practices general medicine. Her specialties are in the areas of sports medicine, physical rehab, pain, and digestive issues.

Carolyn has years of acupuncture experience at major hospitals, clinics, and private practices. At the California Pacific Medical Center’s stroke department, she treated patients with neurological injuries. She has more than 10 years of experience being mentored under a world-renowned neurological scalp acupuncturist. She has also received training from specialists in the areas of digestion and fertility.

In her younger years as an athlete, she encountered various sports-related injuries and sought treatments from orthopedic doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. She found that acupuncture helped decrease the amount of recovery time while increasing efficiency. With a genuine interest in the subject, Carolyn decided to pursue her career in acupuncture over attending medical school and enhanced her abilities studying under a Tui-Na (Chinese body) mentor. She incorporates these experiences with her acupuncture skills and develops techniques for physical injuries. She offers this as a natural and safe medicine to others.

During her free time, Carolyn enjoys fine dining, hiking, camping, and working out. She is an avid UFC and Bay Area sports fan. She is currently practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Tai Ji.
